Moving day

I hate moving. I hate helping others move. The good thing about that however is once everything is moved, you can go home while they unpack and organize.

So the second kid moved out today. Would have been easier had it been a dorm, but an apartment is ok as well. Doing the father thing and helping (i.e. paying for) some of the things she needs.

It is the first step on her new grand adventure of life (and funny that it is on her 19th birthday as well), and like all adventures is exciting, scary, nerve wracking, painful and joyful; sometimes all at once.

Yes, I'll be worrying about her, but this day had to come, and both her and the rest of the family will be more peaceful for it.
