Who knew that anyone cared?

Looks like one of my nearly half dozen readers (ok, it was my son, but his clicks count) actually was wondering why I hadn't updated the blog in so long. Pretty much just been busy and lazy - do those really go together?

The temp job in Detroit has gone from a month to two, and it should be confirmed early next week if it will go until the first week of March. And the next month may include overtime as well - and that is paid overtime ( though not time and a half).

I am a bit frustrated at the multiple levels of beauracracy, both with my company and the client. We just found out that we have to use a specific subsystem that is never mentioned in the requirements, and it looks to be a big pain in the butt.

I am sick of the 4 hour drive twice a week, and that it feels like all I do on the weekends is to get prepped to go back (laundry, etc.)

So in better news, it is only 9 days until the cruise! WooHoo!!! I can't wait to be warm in the caribean sun for a week! The irony is that the weekend before and aftwr will be no more restful or relaxing ( as we fly out on Sunday, and get back the next Sunday about 1 am ).

De-Lurking day +1 - better late than never

So yesterday was de-lurking day - the day one day a year when those who read these blogs are asked to comment, just the once, so that people can see who is really out there. And of course, I missed it completely.
