a bit frustrated

Down .2. And I thought I had a good week. It is very frustrating to me to be close to a goal, and it seems to get that much harder the closer you get.

A lot of other crap going on, wth work and the boosters, but I can't talk about it in public.

If you could "vent" those other frustrations in a way that works for you - those last ounces will melt away like so much air being expelled in the venting.

Maybe that sounds too idealistic but if you can visualize it then maybe it can really happen like that, too.

Good luck!

I wish it were onces - but then who am I kiddding - 3.2 lbs to go isnt' all that much.

As for my frustrations, some are being addressed. The owner of the company (who bought it last year, taking it private) said today that bonuses for those eligible, based on lasts years plan, would get them by the end of the month. I got a pretty good one last year, so I'm hoping that I will get something this year. Of course he also said the move of the programmers to the third floor was complete - and I'm still on the second.

As for the band boosters, there is a 'financial issue' involving old (going back to 2003 for some) receipts requesting re-imbursement - and I feel caught in the middle. The person involved did spend the money, and I personally like her, but pulling out four year old receipts (for totals in the 5 figure range) is ridiculous.

Thanks for you feedback however. I will keep trying to visualize washboard abs :-)

I'm awed by what you have already lost so, for me, this is the small end. I'm sure that it is much different for you because you're the one standing on that frustrating plateau.

I just lost 10lbs. in the 5 weeks since I changed jobs and I already feel tons better. I had gained about 60lbs in the last 14 months at the old job so I'm way at the other end of the road from where you are.

I am optimistic, though, and will just mosey along pound by pound.

Congrats on the 10 lbs! That is worth a blue ribbon! The rewards do sound kind of silly at WW, but the support is actually nice.

Take it slow, there is no rush. The best way (so I've been told) to keep the weight off is to lose it gradually.
